Ever since I was a little girl I wanted to be an aerialist. The idea was born when I was 7-year-old, I was watching a performance in theme park the Efteling, where this girls made the most beautiful shapes at great heights and let themselves fall down and just before the curtain ended stoped, the aerial silks. Then I started researching. What is this? How can I learn this too? Soon I got to know Cirque Du Soleil and still it is my goal to work for them. meanwhile I have seen the headquarters in Montreal (Canada).

My name is Demi Brama I am 20 years old and I have studyed at the Johan Cruyff College in Amsterdam. I live in The Netherlands with my mom, dad and older brother. I love to perform, to do photoshoot's and keep on social media like instagram, besides all that I also like to teach. I have my own aerial acrobatics and pole dance studio in Maartensdijk  (The Netherlands).

I strared poledancing when I was 10 years old, I meet someone on a national holiday she owns a Poledance studio nearby so she invite me to take a class to see if I liked it. At fist my parent where confuses how can a little girl do pole dance the teacher told my parents that pole dancing is a sport. So my parents decided that I could try pole dance, and I haven't stopped since then.

Still I wanted to learn aerial sports like aerial hoop or aerial silks. When I was 12 a became national champion pole sports my mom suggested that I could do a audition at a particular studie (Corpus Acrobatics) for circus disciplines. So I did the audition (that summer) and I was admitted.

In June 2018 I graduated high school and in July 2021 I graduate from Het Johan Cruyff College in Amsterdam.

In January (2022) I had the opportunity to audition for Cirque Du Soleil show Luzia, I submitted to the audition and made it to the top 12. I didn't get the part in the end, I am very grateful that I was able to experience this & on to the next audition.
